Poly LibSearch lets you search the SP Library and Poly Libraries catalogue as well as many electronic resources (e.g. articles, e-books) to which the library subscribes. Here are tips to help you search more effectively.

Use quotation marks E.g. "project management", "design thinking" |
| Use AND, NOT (Boolean operators) |
Type operators in uppercase E.g. "augmented reality" AND "retail industry" "endangered species" NOT orangutan (searches for anything on endangered species except the orangutan) |
| Filter by: Availability |
For full text resources: choose "Available online". For Library materials like books, media items: choose "Held by library". |

Filter by: Material Type |
Select the content or publication type depending on the type of information you need. You may select more than one. |
| Filter by: Subject | Choose the Subject(s) which relate to your search. |
| Filter by: Publication Date |
Change the From and To date to narrow down the publication year. |
| Use Advanced Search | Search for keywords in specific fields like the Title and Author/Creator. |
Broaden or expand your search.
Think of synonyms or other words similar to your search term.
Use the OR operator to combine these words.
E.g.
hunger OR poverty OR starvation
"business analytics" OR "data analytics"
