When referring to a source or document in the body of your report/paper, indicate the author's surname and year of publication.

Illustrations / Tables / Figures
When referring to data from a table or chart, include the author and page number to enable the reader to verify the data.

In the latest set of findings resulted in the 2014 Comprehensive Labour Force Survey, non-seasonally adjusted resident unemployment rate was reported to have risen to 3.9% from 3.7% in 2013 (Singapore Ministry of Manpower, 2014, p. 33).
