The survey of Singapore's five polytechnics' graduates found that graduates from courses in the health sciences earned the highest median gross monthly salary compared to their peers. This was followed by graduates of engineering, information and digital technologies and humanities and social sciences.
On 13 January 2022, the results of the 2021 Polytechnic Graduate Employment Survey (GES) were released. A little over 9 in 10 (92%) polytechnic graduates managed to find jobs within six months after graduating or completing their National Service (NS) in 2021 — an almost 5% increase from 87.4% in 2020 when Singapore was struck by a recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
