SP Library National Reading Movement

by Grace Ong on 2018-07-17T00:00:00+08:00 in Library Events | 0 Comments

In conjunction with NLB’s National Reading Movement, SP Library is organising a Read for Books charity book drive.

Participants will help to raise book donations for beneficiaries from WondeRead, Autism Association (Singapore), Canossaville Children and Community Services (Canossaville) and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.

For every 10 people who read 15 minutes, 1 book will be donated to the selected beneficiaries.

Each participant (SP staff and students) will also get to enjoy a *snack box (tea on us).
Staff participants can make use of the reading session to contribute to their ‘Personal Development’ hours in EAsys.

So come join us on 26 Jul (Thursday). Bring along your favourite book, choose a Library book, or read an ebook on your mobile device, and contribute to a good cause.

*Participants are required to spend at least 15 min reading within the event venue to receive the snack box.
