Standard is a document that provides requirements, technical specifications, guidelines or characteristics that can be used consistently to ensure that materials, products, methods, processes and services are fit for their purpose.

In Singapore, the standardization process is administered by Enterprise Singapore through Singapore Standards Council, which establishes and reviews Singapore Standards and Technical References. Standards are usually developed through adoption of international standards or created through inputs from various industries.

Standards are generally identified by standard reference numbers, which have 2 components:

Perform a search by using filters:

Text (e.g. food waste management)

Locate standards related to specific topics.

Title (e.g. Code of Practice for Scaffolds)

Find standards with a specific focus.

Standard number (e.g. SS689)

Perform a direct search for a specific standard.

The PDF reader lets you search, zoom, and do more within the document.
Note: There is no feature available to save standards.

Singapore Standard SS690: 2022 :
(standard for acceptable practices for food safety and good hygiene practices for the vending industry)
