E-LIBRARY TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE

Use of the e-resources is governed by licence agreements from the publishers/service providers and the Copyright Act of the country of origin and of Singapore. Only SP staff, students and other authorised users may access the e-resources for personal research, teaching, academic and non-commercial purposes. Users are advised that any citation of material from e-resources must be duly acknowledged.

Users are personally liable for any copyright infringement or violation of any of the terms and conditions set out in the licence agreements. Generally, guidelines for use in the licence agreements are:

• No distribution to any non-authorised user.
• No modification, adaptation, transformation, translation, sale or creation of any derivative work based on the licensed products.
• No substantial or systematic downloading of the content.
• No removal of any copyright notices, proprietary legends or markings.
• No use of software programs to automatically search and index the content.
